Anna Hazare health is stable for 2nd day

NEW DELHI: Social activist Anna Hazare continued his hunger strike on Monday with a low participation in ongoing anti-corruption rally at Jantar Mantar here.

The Hazare 75-year-old looked fit on the second day of fasting that began Sunday.

According to a health bulletin issued by India against Corruption (IAC), the group that supports Hazare, septuagenarian pressure was recorded in the blood normal pulse rate steady at 89.Your level of blood sugar was normal in 98.


Hazare and his core team members Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Gopal Rai and Prashant Bhushan reached the place around 11 am with his supporters chanting slogans of "Bharat Mata ki Jai", "Vande Mataram" and "Inquilab Zindabad" .

Kejriwal, Sisodia and Rai became a fast indefinitely on July 25.Activists want the government to recognize the demand for stricter law would create a whole Lokpal powerful ombudsman against corruption in India.


They also want the government to create a special investigative panel to investigate allegations of graft against 15 ministers, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

This is the fourth time that Hazare has launched an indefinite fast from April last year.

According to IAC, five supporters of Hazare that also were fasting were hospitalized Sunday night after his health deteriorated.
