Nani's suspension was revoked unconditionally:Naidu

Gudivada: Kodali Nani, who on Monday was suspended from Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to call Jaganmohan Reddy YSR Congress chief in jail, turned his arms against TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday and demanded that his suspension was revoked unconditionally .

Speaking to reporters in the TDP office, Nani said the party was not a fief of the addition, significantly, he wanted to stay in the party founded by the late NT Rama Rao Naidu. The deputy said he was in politics because of  NTR and Harikrishna and his son announced his intention to contest the suspension order in a court of law if not lifted immediately.


The defense of his meetings with Jagan and his mother Vijayamma, Nani said he had no personal ties to the family of the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He then criticized Naidu to make unfounded allegations against YSR, even after the death of the leader. "People are still trying YSR as a god, but Naidu is making baseless allegations," he said.

Nani also denied claims that TDP leaders had "sold" himself Jagan's party to the tune of Rs 30 crore and came up with a counter-complaint against himself Naidu said the head of TDP had been 'sold' Rajya Sabha ticket for Rs 300 crore. Naidu said he had no moral authority to comment on his character. Emotionally charged Nani said: "I have not decided to leave the party. Jagan is a friend and I met him as a friend."


Nani said that changed when I was YSR loyalty to the head if he wanted to get rid of TDP for financial gain. "My suspension of the party without my explanation is sought first is undemocratic and unwarranted," he said.

Since Naidu, said the former CM had abandoned his political mentor Rajagopala Naidu Galla (father of Galla Aruna Minister) for a ticket to Congress Chandragiri, but went to Kuppam after incurring the displeasure of the people of there.


Nani also noted how legendary leader did not spare Naidu and NTR father-in-law in their hunger for power. "Naidu is the sole owner of the patent, for the attainment of political opportunism and has no moral right to criticize me," said Nani. He was reacting to the call of Naidu of party cadres to attack the 'traitors' party.

"I won the seat Gudivada on my own. Naidu must explain why 15 of the 17 candidates of the party lost the elections in the district in the 2004 elections," he asked. Naidu alleged that contemplated the delivery of the party reins to his son Lokesh expel diehard fans Nandamuri Harikrishna and NTR Junior. Nani said it was Junior NTR who had helped him to get a party ticket to contest the 2004 elections.
