Pak court justify Osama bin Laden's wives, daughters to 45 days in prison

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani court on Monday sentenced three of Osama bin Laden and the widows of two of his daughters to 45 days of detention for illegal residence and ordered deported as soon as possible.

Muhammad Aamir's lawyer said the detention period began on March 3 when they were formally arrested on charges of illegal entry and residence in Pakistan and would continue to be held at his home in Islamabad.

"The interior minister has been directed to organize their deportation," said Aamir reporters outside the house in the capital, where the widows of the leader of Al Qaeda is living and that the authorities have declared a "sub jail."


"I think probably will be completed in two weeks," he said.

Zakarya Ahmad Abd al-Fattah, the brother of the younger wife and favorite Yemeni reportedly Bin Laden, Amal, confirmed the sentence and said the judge had imposed a fine of 10,000 rupees (110 dollars) each, as a step prior to repatriation.

"The court has also instructed the government to organize the necessary documents for his first return, so they can go home as soon as possible," Fattah told reporters.

Two other wives of Bin Laden is Saudi.
