Stalin, Kanimozhi, Dayanidhi Maran court arrest protesting against AIADMK's govt

CHENNAI: As the opposition DMK took to the streets in a turmoil-filled prison, protesting against the "oppression" AIADMK government rule, several thousand party officials, including the treasurer MK Stalin and Rajya Sabha MP MK Kanimozhi were arrested statewide on Wednesday.

Stalin and about a thousand party cadres were arrested in Kolathur Assembly segment on the outskirts of Chennai.

Speaking to reporters, Kanimozhi said: "The AIADMK is dedicated to the politics of revenge from the first day. This agitation is the response of DMK to AIADMK of vendetta politics.
