Karnataka CM Jagadish Shetter faces complaint on land corruption

BANGALORE :Very hot politics are going on in karnataka politics(Banglore politics)as follows:                In Karnataka politics(Banglore politics) A few hours after being named as Karnataka chief minister Jagadish Shettar, a private complaint was filed against him on Wednesday in court denotification Lokayukta alleging irregularities in the earth for him six years ago.

The complaint filed with Lokayukta Judge NK Rao said Shettar Sundhindra unrecognized 178 hectares in 2006 as minister of violating the rules of the income that caused a revenue loss of Rs 250 crore to the state treasury.


The complainant, city-based social activist SM Chethan, called for an action under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption against Jagadish Shettar, to be sworn in as prime minister on Thursday.

In karnataka politics(Banglore politics) Shettar was named on Wednesday as karnataka CM(Chief Minister) and invited him to form the government by Governor HR Bhardwaj DV Sadananda Gowda corresponds then resigned after a change of leadership power struggle within the party in the BJP.

The judge sent the petition to July 21 for orders of the probe.

The complainant alleged Jagadish Shettar without cabinet approval was in 2006 178 hectares of the 376 acres acquired for the establishment of a single and small farmers market at Dasanapura near here, on applications by some sharks land together with the farmers who owned the land. This caused  of Rs 250 crore to loss the state treasury in the current market value of the land claimed, but added that the project was never carried out.
