Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh High Court today reserved its judgment on the bail petition YSR Congress party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy on July 4.Justice S Govinda Rajulu concluded the hearing on the petition today.
While noting the lawyer Ram Jethmalani argued for Jagan, senior counsel Ashok Bhan represented the CBI.
CBI's lawyer had argued that the case involved financial irregularities to the tune of 43,000 crore rupees and the CBI is investigating the flow of funds to companies Jagan.
Bhan argued that giving bail to the accused at this time may hamper further investigation, as the research agency has yet to present some more indictments in the case.
The CBI has so far presented three charges in the case of disproportionate assets Kadapa MP. Jagan was arrested on May 27 before being interrogated for three days.
On the other hand, argue that Jethmalani Jagan arrest is politically motivated and there is no absolute evidence that his client has been cooperating with the CBI, or the handling of evidence.
Jagan is being harassed by the CBI in the order of the political leaders, Jethmalani argued.
