Hubli, Ontario, June 27: Senior BJP leader and Karnataka ruler Water Resources Minister Basavaraj Bommai, loyal to a former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa today said that the candidature of BJP state president KS Eshwarappa for the post of prime minister is not acceptable.
"And Mr. Yeddyurappa will not accept the name of Mr. Eshwarappa. He (Yeddyurappa) will not make that mistake because it cost him dearly," he told reporters.In response to Mr. Eshwarappa reports claiming that his supporters wanted him to take the mental, he said, "This can not happen in the politics of BJP. Reports have been a mere conjecture and nothing more." He said he had seen the reports of the media on this development in the state, but none of this had been discussed.
Mr. Bommai said Mr. Yeddyurappa had already made a big mistake in choosing DV Sadananda Gowda Mr. as his successor and would not be repeated.He also said that Mr. Yeddyurappa only be in the race for the last prime minister's faction and urge the parties to the high-order thinking about the need to choose him (Yeddyurappa) as the prime minister.
