NEW DELHI: Gautam Gambhir (102) and Suresh Raina (65 *) propelled India to a victory in five wickets in Sri Lanka in the third ODI, as it took 2-1 lead in the series of five games.
Raina added an unbeaten 92 runs stand with Irfan Pathan to take India to 287 runs target in 49.4 overs in the day / night one dayer R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Raina hit six four six hit in his unbeaten.
Pathan also had a cameo as well he remained unbeaten in 34 of 31 balls with the help of three fours. Raina made 35-ball fifty after leading India's fightback after losing three quick windows in the span of 16 races.
India suffered a blow to Gautam Gambhir has run-out after making a century against Sri Lanka. Gambhir, who scored his 11 ODI tons, smashed 10 runs on all fours, its 102 release 101 balls that kept India in the hunt in the party.
