Bhubaneswar: Government employees Pradyumna Kumar Panigrahi and Lenka Niranjan should curse his act of receiving a miserable bribe of Rs 200 in 1998. Additional special judge SK Pani court monitoring on Monday sentenced each to one year in prison and a fine of 50,000 rupees.
Panigrahi and Lenka, is currently a columnist and the laborer in the employment exchange of Bhubaneswar, were arrested by monitoring the 17 December 1998 for allegedly accepting Rs 100 each from a retired postmaster to offer him a favor "Bipin Bihari said prosecutor Sahoo.
