AHMEDABAD: A 17-year-old was hit by a dump truck Khokhra bridge on Monday night. The teenager was one of the district toppers in SSC exams taken earlier this year. Khokhra police registered a case against the dumper driver fled.
According to police Khokhra, Chintan Modi, a resident of nearby Giridhar Jashodanagar Bungalows, was a student at the School Ballubhai Diwan, Kankaria. Modi was 94 percent in SSC exams earlier this year and has chosen to study further into the mainstream of science.
Eyewitnesses said he was passing the bridge on a motorbike at 6.30 pm. A dump truck tried to pass to beat, but the bike.
