Sunita Williams again takes off for Space


Baikonur (Kazakhstan): A Russian Soyuz spacecraft launched in the morning skies over Kazakhstan carrying three astronauts on their way to the international space station.

NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko and Hoshide of Japan Akihito, will travel two days before reaching his three colleagues and the permanent outpost.


Family members and colleagues observed the launch on Sunday from a viewing platform in the Russian-leased Baikonur arid steppes in the south of this vast country of Central Asia.The space station, which orbits 410 kilometers (255 miles) above Earth, is prepared to handle an unprecedented level of traffic.HTV3 Japanese cargo ship will dock with the space station next week and will be the first of nine ships to make contact with the satellite in orbit over a period of 17 days.
